Police nab man for sodomy of 5 yr old boy
A 22-year-old man, Ganiu Amusa is now cooling his heels in police custody after he was arrested for raping a five-year-old boy.
The suspect was apprehended after a raid by the Lagos State Police command on his rented apartment located at Hanson Street by the Alakuko Police Division.
The victim, Thompson (pseudonym) who lives with his parents complained about pains in his anus when his mother, Adenike Ejigbo bathed him.

Thompson’s mother who smelt a rat intensely interrogated her son and afterwards he confessed that Amusa lured him to a
place where he penetrated his anus- a revelation that prompted Mrs. Ejigbo to report the matter at the Alakuko police division.
Deputy Police Public Relations Officer of Lagos State, ASP Aliyu Giwa, confirmed the arrest while also adding that the case was undergoing further investigation at the SDCI.
“The police are investigating further at the SDCI,” he said.
A police source also informed that the suspect has confessed to the crime saying the devil is to blame for his actions.
“The suspect did not deny the incident. He is blaming the devil. But the matter has been transferred to the SDCI, Yaba.” The police source added.
