Nollywood actress, Sapphire Adaobi, is said to be fed up with unending calls from close friends, acquaintances and family members after an online medium used her picture to represent a story of late actress, Tosin Badmus, who breathed her last in the early hours of Saturday, November 29, 2015.

The actress has done all she can, stating that she is okay and fine in a bid to assuage the fears of her family members and close friends who were worried when the online post made the rounds.

Sapphire also remarked that she had made efforts to call the online media to question over the mistake to no avail and she may consider taking legal action.

In her reaction to the post by the online medium, Sapphire said; “Abeg, what kind of joke is that with death? I have been receiving calls from friends about the story. I told my mum about it and she said I should see it as a blessing that I am going to live long.”

She also cautioned pressmen to be accurate with their reportage because any mistake may be injurious to the person being reported about.

“Journalists should be careful with how they write their stories. This is a big legal issue but I chose to be peaceful about it rather than rush to take actions against such an expensive mistake.”
