12 suspected IPOB members arrested in Enugu by police
Nigerian Police has said that 12 people suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), were arrested on Tuesday in Enugu.
The state command’s spokesman, Mr Ebere Amarizu, stated this in a statement he signed and made available to newsmen. He said that the suspects were arrested during their ‘sit-at-home’ campaign at the Ogbette Main Market in Enugu.
Amarizu claimed that the suspects had gone into the market with a public address system and ordered the traders to observe a sit-at-home directive on Sept. 23.
