The Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court played host to the case of a 14-year-old secondary school student who forcefully raped his co-tenants seven-year-old daughter.

While addressing the court, the Police Prosecutor, Raphael Donny said the accused who resides at Odo Oba Street, Bariga, Lagos committed the offence sometime in December 2016 at their tenement building, when he broke into the toilet where the underage girl was defecating and defiled her.

“It was the cry of the girl that alerted the mother, who immediately rushed to the scene.

“When the mother saw bloodstains on the child’s clothes, she shouted, but efforts to apprehend the boy were unsuccessful as he ran away from the house.
