A 16-year-old pupil identified as Kehinde Timilehin will spend some more time in detention for fatally stabbing his schoolmate, Favour Matthew, in the chest while testing the efficacy of a charm believed to prevent the penetration of sharp objects like a knife and cutlass.

The order was made during a session by Chief Magistrate, Mr Adesoji Adegboye of an Ado-Ekiti Chief Magistrates’ Court, on Wednesday who added that the suspect who committed the crime on Thursday, December 6, 2018, after school hours, be kept at the State Children Correctional Centre pending advice from the state Director of Public Prosecutions.
