Army keeps mum on reported killing of another Lt. Colonel

The call from a group, Save The Nation Movement (STNM) calling for the probe of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS). Gen Tukur Buratai, over the ongoing arms procurement scandal has sparked a debate among Nigerians on the social media platform, Twitter, with many drawing conclusions and suggesting what they feel should be his fate in the issue.

The group in a statement by its National Secretary, Steven Chilaka, said that Buratai should be included among those indicted in the ongoing probe of abuse of funds meant for the procurement of arms because he was the director of procurement at the defence headquarters (DHQ).
