2 suspected cult members arrested for killing of student over expensive phone

Two suspected cult members have been arrested over the killing of their victim Miss Seiyefa Fred on the 8th of November, 2018, in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State.

According to reports, the suspects killed their victim Seiyefa, a 100 level student of Mathematics at the Niger Delta University during a robbery incident.

The arrest of the pair was confirmed by the Special Adviser to the Governor of Bayelsa State on Security, Mr. Boss Spero-Jack, who also revealed that the suspects were apprehended by the Bayelsa State Vigilance Service.

Mr Spero-Jack also said the suspects identified as Junior Danumunabo, aged 20, from Nembe Local Government Area of the state and one Ezeago, were nabbed following an investigation into the crime they committed.

He said that the suspects had been handed over to the Nigerian Police for further interrogation.
