20-yr-old Poly student jailed for fraudulent impersonation
A 20-year-old polytechnic student named Quadri Sulaimon Ayobami, was on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 convicted and sentenced to three months in prison over fraudulent impersonation.
The suspect was convicted on a one count amended charge filed against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan zonal office.
Ripples Nigeria gathered that the suspect earlier in 2018 fraudulently impersonated one Kate Linda by falsely claiming to be a woman.

He was also accused of fraudulently acquiring the sum of Two Hundred and Seven dollars and one black Infinix Hot X606 phone.
After the defendant pleaded guilty to the charge, EFCC’s counsel, Murtala Usman prayed the court to accept the terms of the plea bargain agreement.
The presiding jugde, Justice Patricia Ajoku thereafter convicted and sentenced Quadri to three months in prison with effect from the day of his arrest.
