Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria (TAN) has given notice that it will soon commence mass mobilization drive across the nation’s six geo-political zones to ensure President Jonathan is re-elected in 2015.
Speaking with newsmen in Abuja, the group’s Director of communications and strategy, Dr Udenta O. Udenta, noted that the purpose of the mass mobilization project is to build and strengthen its structures in all the states, local governments and wards across the country.
“The purpose of the mass mobilization drive and zonal rallies that will kick off in the South East on 16th August 2014 is to identify the group’s followers wherever they be, create formidable grassroots structures and showcase President Jonathan’s sterling achievements in various national sectors,” he said.
He stressed that apart from commanding over three hundred thousand likes and followership on its facebook page and twitter account in just few months, the group has millions of supporters all over the country.
Dr Udenta said millions of delegates expected at its zonal rallies and the national rally would all be registered members of the organization adding that “the deep linkage between the organization and communities unions, CSOs, CBOs, youth structures and women collectives across the country is capable of unleashing human resources of indescribable magnitude on the basis of the truth and fidelity to its core vision that the organization is already noted for”.
