This is even as Kano State Governor and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rabiu Kwankwaso, weekend, reiterated the resolve of the party to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential election.
A statement issued in Abuja yesterday by the Chairman of NAF, Alhaji Gidado Ibrahim, said the endorsement of Jonathan was based on his achievements in office since 2011.
Ibrahim said his group aligns with the president’s transformation agenda and the successes recorded so far.
He said: “The Northern Alternative Forum wishes to use this medium to congratulate President Goodluck Jonathan on the giant strides recorded by his administration in the past three years and to encourage him not to be distracted.
“I wish to state cheap jerseys clearly that NAF, a pressure group, completely aligns with the transformation agenda of the present administration which is transforming different sectors of the economy such as health, aviation, road infrastructure, railway, agriculture, power and many others.
“It is against this backdrop that we wish to declare our support for President Jonathan in the 2015 election if he so wishes to contest.
“In fact, we endorse Mr. President wholesale Cleveland Browns jerseys for 2015; we want him to continue with the good works beyond 2015 and we are prepared to work for him to actualise this goal.
“Our support for Mr. President is not based on any primordial sentiments but on Do?al concrete evidences using of achievements recorded in different sectors of the economy which has been made manifest in the recent rebasing of the economy and Nigeria’s new status as Africa’s biggest economy.’’
He also called on Nigerians to support the president and his administration’s development agenda.
On the impeachment of former Governor Murtala Nyako, the NAF chairman said the action would serve as a deterrent to those linked with corruption.
“We commend the Adamawa State Laminar House of Assembly for resisting all overtures to stand by the truth and speak in unison against corruption and impunity which culminated in the impeachment of Murtala Nyako.
“The development is one incident that has shown that democracy in Nigeria is fully in action.
“The Amet action is a reminder to all political office holders to always adhere to the rule of law,” Ibrahim said.
Meanwhile, Kano State Governor and stalwart of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has reiterated the resolve of the party to defeat President Goodluck Jonathan in the 2015 presidential election.
Kwankwaso also scored the Jonathan administration low in its handling of security challenges threatening the nation’s corporate existence, arguing that the president’s failure to demonstrate leadership was responsible for the rising wave of insurgency in nel some parts of the country.
He stressed the need for greater unity among all sections of the country as a panacea for the nation’s speedy development.
Kwankwaso, who was fielding questions from newsmen weekend in Abuja on the state of the nation, said: “The opposition All Progressives Congress, APC, will ensure that President Goodluck Jonathan loses the 2015 presidential election just the way President Joyce Banda of Malawi recently lost to Peter Mutharika in the general election held in May.
“The issue of security is key. Any government that cannot provide basic needs of its people means it is simply not there, that is why even the International Community feels like there is no government on ground in Nigeria.
“So many people have advised this government, especially on the issue of the wholesale NFL jerseys North East. The North East should have a special Marshall Plan to support them. He said the Federal Government was not doing enough to address the plight of thousands of internally displaced Nigerians in Niger Republic, Cameroun and Chad, stressing that nobody is even talking about them.
