2018: Makarfi sets-up committee to unseat APC

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Caretaker Committee Chairman, Ahmed Makarfi, has set up a committee to fashion out a plan to remove the ruling party, APC from power come 2019.

While inaugurating the committee led by Prof. Jerry Gana, a former Minister of Information, Makarfi disclosed that the committee would discuss with others both members and non-members of the PDP on how to remove APC from power in 2019.

Makarfi, during the event, alleged that Ali Modu Sheriff, who still insists he is the national chairman of the party, is doing everything possible to make Nigeria a one party state.

“We as caretaker committee of the PDP we have absolute faith and confidence in the judiciary and we know that ultimately justice will be done, the judges cannot be fooled by these antics. We equally believe that as democrats in PDP we will continue to depend on the judiciary as the institution that can protect its own integrity and I believe that they are capable of doing that,” he said.

Makarfi who stated this when he spoke with newsmen in Kaduna State on Saturday said Sheriff’s first strategy was to discredit the judiciary and then ensure that nothing hinders Nigeria from becoming a one party state.

According to him, Sheriff is already at work as he deliberately raised insinuations that were possible of affecting the judgement pending before the Appeal Court in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital.

I do not see any political party in nigeria at the moment with the ability to unseat APC in 2019. But they can decide to spend money for nothing.

This man mentioned APC like a new political part that’s struggling to win an election. Mr Makarfi, please add some respects to APC anytime you want to mention anything about the party

What is so special about APC if not that corruption has taking over them.

Considering what’s going on in APC, the internal crisis and disorderliness, if care isn’t taken, PDP will bounce back in 2019 to unseat APC.

Congrats to the committee set up my stupid markafi. Such an unsuccessful committee. It’s only after 16 years that APC can be unseated .not even by PDP.

Hausa man, who told you PDP can’t unseat APC, watch out for the return of Jonathan under the big umbrella of PDP comes 2019.
