2019: Campaign to get Osinbajo to run begins
A group has embarked on a campaign to get Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to run in the 2019 presidential election.
The group, “Osinbajo Volunteers”, said its early campaign for the vice president was so as to ensure he became a candidate in the 2019 election.
They stated that unlike some other Nigerian leaders who were “clueless” about the nation’s issues, Osinbajo was a “leader who has a clue on what to do and turn Nigeria the beloved to the land of our dreams”.
The volunteers called on members of the public to join them in the project of backing the vice president.
On their website, activities of the vice president abound.

However, the group emphasized that Osinbajo had no link to them whatsoever, stating on their website that, “Note that Osinbajo did not endorse this volunteer group. We have never met him. We are strong believers in the fact that he is the right ruler for Nigeria and must create a peoples volunteer base for him”.
Reacting, the Senior Special Assistant, Media and Publicity to the Vice President, Laolu Akande, said anyone who recognised the disposition and integrity of the vice president would understand that he had nothing to with the group.

Politics could be funny and cunning, there is tendency that Osinbajo could be in alliance with the group, no one to be trusted in politics especially as regards to Nigerian politics

Osinbajo deserves to be the president of Nigeria, provided Buhari won’t be running for the second term. Osinbajo will make an excellent president, I’m very sure of that.

This has nothing to do with religion, you have To be very careful, we redeemers are not after political post and Osinbajo became the VP of Nigeria because he was ordained by God.
