PDP South West crisis may fester as Fayose threatens 'dissidents' with sanctions

Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has finally declared himself as the next President of Nigeria and promised that unlike Muhammadu Buhari’s administration that his government will be truthful and bring real change to the country.

Fayose made the declaration on Friday in Ado Ekiti, adding that two former governors of the state, Segun Oni, and Minister of Solid Minerals, Kayode Fayemi, who are preparing to return as governor in the state in the 2018 election, will not succeed in their bids.

He said, “Just because Ayo Fayose has won a second term to become governor of Ekiti, some people also think they can come back now, but I want to tell them that it is not possible. I am the man wholeheartedly loved by Ekiti people because of the many developmental projects that have brought great infrastructural and developmental advancement to Ekiti.

“If you go around Ekiti, you will see my handiwork dotting every nook and cranny of the state. This is why I am the man who every Ekiti people will follow in 2018.”

He added, “I have penchant for taking powers; that one in Buhari’s hand. I will take it. I’m going straight to that villa. I’m the next president.

“I want to be the next president of Nigeria. My own won’t be this change that has brought nothing, we are going to represent the people well and tell them the truth.”

Fayose, the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors Forum, had some time ago hinted that he had received revelation from God that he would one day become Nigeria’s President.

Not long ago, Fayose had also suggested he may in 2018 contest in the governorship election in Ekiti State in order to complete his 2007 truncated tenure.

Fayose likes to brag and overstep his boundary. I pity him. Although fayemi is shameless too. must he recontest again

This isn’t a bad idea. Fayose sure should try his luck out, I’m sure some Nigerians will vote for him. He’s totally not a bad man, just that he talks alone and likes controversy.

That makes it a good one because we don’t want a man that talk alone or a man who like controversy as our president if not our country we be more shameful than this we are into.

If Fayose is really going to contest in 2019, then I’ll give him my full support. He’s the man of the people and greatly love by the youths of Nigeria, above all there’s no one he cannot relate with, all these we’ve seen him do as the governor of Ekiti state

Don’t waste your support, this will totally fail on arrival. Fayose dares not try not to run for the post of the president in 2017, because no one will vote for him. He should wait for more years

Fayose said that if we go to Ekiti,we shall see his handiwork in every nook and cranny but I explored ekiti several times and haven’t seen any meaning development in the state. Are these works of fayose spiritual or how?
