2019: Nigerians impressed with Buhari, will vote him again, Presidential aide affirms

The Presidency has boasted that ailing President Muhammadu Buhari will still win the presidential election in Nigeria even if the election was to be held today.

It said that Nigerians are impressed with Buhari and would still vote for him regardless of anything the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and other opposition parties might be saying.

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, told State House correspondents at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, on Tuesday, that the confidence reposed in Buhari by ordinary Nigerians had remained unshaken because he has continued to do what they want.

Also at the occasion, Shehu said that the Federal Government was still detaining former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, because there are many cases against him.

Shehu, who was joined by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina; and the SSA on Media and Publicity to the Acting President, Laolu Akande, explained that while Dasuki secured court bails in some of the cases, there were many other cases against him.

He also spoke on the Federal Government’s continued detention of the leader of Islamic Movement in Nigeria, El-Zakzaky, saying he is being kept in protective custody.

They are all sycophants. That’s what they want their master to feel, let them start an online poll to test Nigerians, that’s when they will know majority of Nigerians are tired of Buhari’s government

Without iota of doubt, if Buhari truly recontest, he will definitely win the election either by crook or hook.
