21-yr-old Texas shooting suspect, Crusius, targeted ‘Mexicans’—Texas police

Patrick Crusius, the 21-year-old arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 20 people and wounding 26 others at a packed shopping area in El Paso, last weekend, has confessed that he targeted Mexicans.

The suspect who is now being held and interrogated over the Wallmart shooting spree made the confession according to an El Paso police affidavit released on Friday .

Patrick came out of his vehicle, stopped at an intersection, “and stated out loud ‘I’m the shooter’”, Detective Adrian Garcia said in the affidavit.

The suspect has been charged with capital murder and is being held without bond.

Texas police has confirmed that the suspect is who is from Allen, Texas, was the only person in custody in connection to the shooting incident.
