2face shifts proposed mass protest against govt by 24hrs

A day after releasing a time-table for a proposed nationwide mass protest aimed at forcing the government of the day to either perform or relinquish power, the planned demonstration has now been shifted by 24 hours.

Reports say the nationwide protest was shifted to the 6th of February to coincide with the resumption date of President Muhammadu Buhari who is currently on a 10-day medical vacation in the United Kingdom and is expected back on Monday February 6, 2017.

The organisers of the mass protest which will take place both online and offline simultaneously had revealed a schedule for the demonstration earlier planned for Sunday, February 5th, 2017.

In Lagos, demonstrators are expected to converge at the New Afrikan Shrine at Agidingbi, Ikeja from where they’ll march all the way to Gani Fawehinmi Park, Ojota.

In Abuja, protesters will converge at Unity Fountain, Abuja while in Port Harcourt and Kano demonstrators will meet at Isaac Boro Park, and Rumfa Primary School, Enugu Road, Sabon Gari, respectively.
