Over 352 African stars confirm attendance for AFRIMA 2016
The organisers of the 2016 All Africa Music Awards, AFRIMA have confirmed that over 352 African music stars will storm Lagos for this year’s edition of the music awards.
Leading the list of confirmed performers for the forthcoming event are Manu Dibango, Femi Kuti, Fally Ipupa, Mafikizolo, Vvip, Victoria Kimani, Flavour, Dj Van, Diamond Platnumz, Kiss Daniel, Sally Boss Madam, Seyi Shay, Aka, Eddy Kenzo, Sarah Ayoub, and others.
The line-up also includes nominees and multiple award-winning 22-man South African choral group, Soweto Choir who have confirmed attendance at the main awards ceremony in Nigeria on Sunday, November 6.
Billed to hold at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, the main awards ceremony is preceded by the AFRIMA Music Village, a concert event at the WaterFront, Bar Beach, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria.
In addition to the 22-man Soweto Gospel Choir, AFRIMA 2016, tagged AFRIMA 3.0, will host a handful of African superstars during the award’s programme of events scheduled to hold from November 4 to November 6.
