4 traders crushed to death, others injured in ghastly Ibadan auto crash

Tragedy struck near the overhead bridge in Akinyele area of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, when a truck rammed into a taxi with four victims feared dead during the accident.

Reports say two persons survived the incident but sustained varying degrees of injuries and were later taken to the State Hospital located at Adeoyo with the corpses of the deceased.

The accident which occurred when the brakes of the truck failed was confirmed by Mr Seun Onijala, the Public Relations Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, Oyo State.

According to Mr. Onilaja confirmed that the survivors have been taken to hospital while the corpses of the deceased have been deposited in a mortuary.
