40 feared dead in Abuja building collapse

At least 40 people were feared dead in a building collapse in Sabon Lugbe area of Abuja on Saturday.

Men of the National Emergency Management Service, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Fire Service, and other emergency responders have been deployed to the scene to rescue the victims who are still trapped under the rubble.

The building was under construction when it came down at about 5:00 p.m. and trapped the victims.

This incident occurred just 12 days after a section of a two-storey building collapsed in the Kubwa area of Abuja
