40 to undertake exam for AGF post
About 40 candidates would this morning (Monday) be seating for the selection examination to pick a new Accountant General of the Federation.
They consist of all the Directors of Finance and Accounts in all the federal ministries.
The examination to be conducted by the office of the Head of Service (HOS) of the Federation is to appoint a replacement for Jonah Otunla was replaced on Monday by President Muhammadu Buhari who announced Mohammed Dikwa, a director in the funds department in the office of the AGF, as the acting Accountant General pending the appointment of a substantive one.
A source at the office of the HOS informed Premium Times that the examination would hold in one of the halls at the HOS office and would begin by 9 a.m.
“About 40 candidates would seat for the exam and they consist of all the Directors of Finance and Accounts in all the Ministries,” he said.
He also said some directors in the Audit department are also part of the screening exercise.

I know we have quality personnel in Federal Civil Service and most of DOF are qualified, nevertheless it is a good thing that the job will be going to the best candidate. The change is here
