Wedding ring

The wedding ring is an intrinsic part of joining of couples together as man and wife especially in Christian marriages, but quite a number of men as opposed to women find it difficult to wear this symbolic ornament.

Why is this so? Below are five excuses men give when they are not wearing their wedding bands.

1. Forgetfulness: Some men claim they forget to wear their rings, but do not forget that they are married. Slipping a metal band on their left hand to signify the obvious just isn’t a huge priority for them, so long as they are making their marriage a priority.

2. It is expensive: They claim they are clumsy, busy, or knocking out a free-standing wall, hence they do not want to destroy their bands and might like to pass it down to their sons one day.

3. It is dangerous: Some men feel It’s not the value of the ring that’s so dangerous, but the razor sharp, high-set prong setting that’s made it a hazard to them and anyone within arm’s reach. Want to give someone a hug? It might just slice their arm off.

4. It doesn’t prove fidelity or eternal bonding: Men feel they conduct themselves as married persons, so it shouldn’t matter whether the cashier at some bank knows they’re married or the general public thinks they are single. What matters to them is being devoted to their partners without some unnecessary external symbol of commitment.

5. It is too much bling: Others say they’ve never been the jewelry person, and have never liked bling’s, so it difficult for them wearing their bands because they feel overly dressed. but they treasure the wedding rings and consider it sacred.
