5-time Senator Mark wins Benue re-run

Five-time senator David Mark has been declared winner of the Benue South Senatorial District Re-run election.

The Independent National Election Commission, INEC, declared the former Senate President, winner after polling a total of 84, 192 while his main challenger, Daniel Onjeh got 71, 621 votes.

The result declared by Prof.Ishaku Enigi, showed that Mark won in five local government areas while Onjeh won in four.

The Appeal Court had earlier sacked David Mark and ordered a rerun.
