6 interesting spices that help enhance your skin color

Many of us enjoy making our dishes more exciting by adding spices. But did you know that spices can also help to bring out your skin’s healthy glow?

Your skin is your largest organ. It’s not always easy to take good care of it so that it’s always looking awesome. And when it isn’t looking at its best, it can really knock your confidence.
If uou desire a healthy and glowing skin, then you must add these six spices listed below in your every day meals.

Garlic: Nutritionists and dieticians all around the world agree that we should add garlic to at least one meal each day. That sounds like a lot, but garlic is just so wonderful and comes with many health benefits.

Green Tea: Not everyone enjoys green tea. This is a given and I understand. But green tea has a remarkable amount of health benefits, and it moreover looks after your skin.

And if you can’t get used to the admittedly bland taste, there are now flavoured green teas that you might like, and which still come with the same amount of health benefits.

Lavender: Some people love the smell of lavender, and others hate it. If you love it, you’re in for a treat because lavender soothes skin, prevents wrinkles and promotes healing. It also promotes new skin cell growth and can treat many skin problems, including acne and eczema.

Aloe Vera: Aloe vera just HAD to be on this list! It’s commonly known that aloe vera is good for your skin. So if you aren’t already applying it as a gel, why aren’t you? It’s an excellent moisturiser.

Ginger: Ginger is not just marvellous for your stomach, it’s also a godsend for your skin. It boosts tone and fights blemishes. You can apply ginger topically for best results. Cut a few slices up, before gently rubbing them over affected areas.

Hot Peppers: Like green tea – and perhaps a lot of the spices on this list – hot peppers are not going to be enjoyed by everyone. But they are yet another fab way of looking after your skin.

Hot spices include the likes of jalapeño, cayenne, paprika and chili. They’re not here simply to destroy your mouth cells and burn your alive – they’re also here to maintain your skin’s integrity!
