825 COVID-19 tests produced Tuesday’s 195 positive cases —Health Minister
The Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire, said Wednesday 825 COVID-19 tests produced the 195 positive results announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Tuesday night.
The minister disclosed this during the daily briefing by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 in Abuja.
The NCDC had on Tuesday confirmed 195 new cases of COVID-19 in 14 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The figure brought the total number of cases in Nigeria to 1,532 with 44 deaths.
It was also the highest tally produced in a single day since February 27 when the country recorded its first COVID-19 case
