Abba Moro in EFCC net over recruitment scam
The anti corruption war of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was expanded on Monday, as the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arrested and detained the immediate past Minister of Interior, Comrade Abba Moro and two others over 2014 Immigrations recruitment scam.
It will be recalled that a job recruitment drive by the Nigeria Immigrations Service in 2014 led to the death of about 20 job seekers across the country while several others were injured in the stampede that characterized the exercise, amidst allegations of financial scam against the organizers.
