Abducted Borno judge reportedly regains freedom after 76 days

The abducted judge with the Borno State High Court, Justice Haruna Mshelia, has reportedly regained his freedom.

Gunmen suspected to be terrorists kidnapped the judge alongside his wife, driver, and a police orderly on June 24.

While the judge has been regained his freedom, the other three victims are still being held hostage by the criminals.

A source in the court told journalists on Monday in Maiduguri.

“We have just received the news of the release of Justice Haruna Mshelia by Boko Haram,” he stated.
