The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State has accused officials the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of colluding with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to rig result of Saturday’s governorship election in the State.

The party also accused security operatives of compromise which led to the defeat of the party’s candidate, Uche Ogah.

Speaking on behalf of the party, the campaign manager of the APC governorship candidate, Mr Kelechi Ugwuaja, said the party rejects the outcome of the election.

He said, “INEC and security agents moved against our party. Our candidate was winning everywhere until INEC and security agents moved in and took away electoral materials to rewrite the result of the election.

“We cannot accept what is going on in the state. If nothing is done to stop the process, we will make this state ungovernable.”
INEC had declared PDP’s Okezie Ikpeazu as the winner of the election.
