Abia govt declares suspected COVID-19 case wanted

The Abia State government on Friday declared a suspected COVID-19 patient, Vincent Prosper, wanted.

A statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information, John Okiyi-Kalu, said the man sneaked into Abia from a neighbouring state recently.

According to the statement, the suspected COVID-19 patient was last seen along the Nnamdi Azikiwe Road in Aba.

The state government asked anyone with useful information on the man’s whereabouts and those who have had contacts with him to contact the state Commissioner of Health.
