ABIA: Materials arrive early
Some parts of Abia State witnessed Early distribution of electoral materials, especially Aba south and Aba north.
There were early distribution of electoral materials in various polling units in Aba south and Aba north LGAs. This was unlike what was obtainable during the February 23 Presidential and National Assembly elections which saw late distribution of electoral materials.

Voting has already started in various polling units across the LGAs as there is heavy presence of military men at Ariaria junction to Abayi.
However, there have been low turn out of voters, as at the time of filing in this report.
In other areas, card readers in polling units across Ukwa east Local Government Area of the state have failed in recognizing the finger print of voters.
This has forced the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) staff to resort to manual voting.
However, there is high level of voter apathy as not much people came out to exercise their civic duty.
