Acting HCSF, Yemi-Esan holds first meeting with Buhari after appointment

The acting Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan, on Friday had a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, Abuja.

The meeting was the first with President Buhari at the Presidential Villa after her appointment on Wednesday.

While the agenda of the meeting was not immediately known, speculations were that the meeting might have been arranged to enable her introduce herself formerly to the president.

Buhari had recently ordered the former HCSF boss, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita, to proceed on indefinite leave to allow for the conclusion of her probe by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Following that development, Yemi-Esan was appointed to act as the new HCSF boss.
