Actor Idris Elba, James Bond star actress, Olga Kurylenko, tests positive for COVID-19

Popular English actor, Idris Elba is the latest celebrity to test positive for the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID-19 which has quickly spread across the globe and has claimed many lives.

The thespian revealed this in a post on Twitter on Monday via a short video where he revealed that he didn’t have any symptoms but got tested after finding out he’d been in contact with someone else who tested positive.

Idris Elba revealed further in the video that after testing positive to the virus he has since gone into immediate self-isolation with his wife Sabrina to avoid spreading the virus to others.

“This morning I tested positive for COVID-19. I feel ok; I have no symptoms so far but have been isolated since I found out about my possible exposure to the virus. Stay home and be pragmatic. I will keep you updated on how I’m doing. No panic,” the actor captioned his post on Twitter.

Similarly, James Bond star actress, Olga Kurylenko, who is best known for the James Bond 007 movie where she played Bond girl Camille Montes and sci-fi film Oblivion has also confirmed in a post on her Instagram page that she has tested positive to coronavirus.

In her post on the social media platform, the 40-year-old thespian also warned her fans to take the deadly virus serious and stay safe.

Kurylenko wrote on Instagram; “Locked up at home after having tested positive for coronavirus… I’ve actually been ill for almost a week now. Fever and fatigue are the main symptoms. Take care of yourself and do take this seriously!”
