Adeuti wins Ondo LP gov candidate

Stephen Adeuti has emerged Labour Party’s (LP’s) candidate for the coming governorship election in Ondo State.

The party party’s primary took place at the Royal Bird Hotels, Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital on Saturday.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), some observers and security agents were present to monitor the election which saw Adeuti won unopposed following his adoption by the party’s delegates after his only opponent, Mr Olugbenga Ojo stepped down.

Mr Ladi Iliya, the returning officer for the election and deputy national chairman of the party, applauded the aspirants for the spirit of sportsmanship and charged them to continue to assiduously work together for the party’s success in the November 26, governorship election in the state.
