Aero makes air return, passengers stranded

Published

on

An Abuja bound Boeing 737/500 flight from Sokoto made an air return to Sokoto airport midway into the flight, but it was not clear what led to the air return.

Managing Director of Aero Contractors Airline, Capt. Ado Sanusi, told New Telegraph that the incident happened on Wednesday, but that there was no emergency, adding that the crew also did not declare any emergency.

He said air return was a normal situation in aviation, adding that over a hundred flights make return to bases or airports when there were little issues arising from flight operations.
