AFCON 2019 Qualifiers: Nigeria draws S/Africa, Lybia & Seychelles

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been paired against their South African, Lybian and Seychellois counterparts in the qualifying draw for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations as released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Thursday.

Cameroon are in group B alongside 1976 champions Morocco, Malawi and either Comoros or Mauritius, but as hosts of the tournament, they will qualify automatically. And should they top their group, the second-placed side in the Group will contest the finals.

A total of 16 teams will play in the finals. Thus, in addition to hosts Cameroon, the 12 group winners will qualify alongside the three best runners-up.

The group stage of the qualifier starts in June, and it all concludes in November 2018.
