The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria lost 10-9 on penalties in a pulsating semi-final encounter against their Guinean counterparts in the ongoing AFCON U-17 tournament taking place in Tanzania.

The first half of the encounter was dominated by the Guinean U-17 team as they had more corners, more shots on goal and dominated in terms of ball possession.

The second half of the encounter also ended goalless as the very physical Guinean team forced the Nigerian side to play a bit more cautious unlike their expressive performances in previous games of the competition.
