After keeping him in custody for 10 days, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Friday, arraigned the National Publicity Secretary, Olisa Metuh before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Metuh, who pleaded not guilty to all the charges preferred against him, was however ordered to be remanded in prison custody pending the proper filling of his bail application by his counsel. The judge fixed Tuesday, 19 January for hearing of the bail application.

He was arraigned by the EFCC on a seven – count charge.

Counsel to the PDP spokesman, Ifedayo Adedipe, made an oral application for bail, but was opposed by the prosecuting counsel.

The trial judge, Justice Abang Obong, however ordered that Metuh’s application be properly filed so that the EFCC can respond before it would be entertained.

Justice Obong thereafter directed Metuh to be transferred to the prison from EFCC custody
