After a brief stand down, the Supreme Court on Wednesday resumed hearing on the appeal filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, challenging President Muhammadu Buhari’s victory in the February 23 presidential election.

The seven-man panel led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Mohammed, had earlier stood down proceedings on hearing of the appeal to allow Atiku’s counsel, Dr. Levy Uzokwu (SAN), to reach a decision on the hearing procedure.
