Oyo-Ita

Embattled Head of Service of the Federation, Winifred Oyo-Ita, arrived the Presidential Villa, Abuja as President Muhammadu Buhari prepared to inaugurate his new cabinet members.

Oyo-Ita is being probed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged financial infractions to the tune of N3 billion.

She had avoided attending the two-day retreat organised for the ministers-designate on Monday and Tuesday by the presidency.

She was expected to make a presentation at the retreat on Tuesday, but she failed to show up.

There are speculations that she had turned in her resignation.

While it was not clear if she will be at the swearing-in of Buhari’s second term cabinet, Oyo-Ita, who visited Aso Villa, was seen entering the office of Abba Kyari, the Chief of Staff to the president.
