After foiling impeachment plot, Saraki visits Babangida
The Senate President Bukola on Wednesday visited former military Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida In Minna, the Niger State capital.
Saraki escaped an impeachment plot purportedly hatched by the presidency and some senators of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It is believed that the recent invasion of the National Assembly by operatives of the Department of State Security Services was part of the plan to unseat the leadership of the federal legislature.

There are no details yet of the purpose of the meeting, or what was discussed by both men as at the time of this report.
