Omotola And Our "Hellish" Country!

Weeks after Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde described the state of Nigeria under the watch of President Muhammadu Buhari and VP Yemi Osinbajo as ‘hellish’, the actress has launched a fresh tirade at former President Goodluck Jonathan.

In a series of tweets posted on her timeline, the actress slammed the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan blaming it for allegedly wasting the country’s resources for six years.

Omotola disclosed in her message on Twitter that Nigerians appeared to desire a return to the Jonathan days only because the administration of Buhari has performed below expectations.

The actress wrote on her Twitter page; “Jonathan administration was wasteful. Although, it was a way better time than now, it was not the best for Nigerians anyway.

“We cannot want a one-eyed cause its better than a blind. “We must value ourselves to want full vision,” she added.

Recall weeks ago that Omotola in a strongly worded message on her Twitter page, described the state of Nigeria under the watch of Buhari and VP Yemi Osinbajo as ‘hellish’.

She also lamented the mass killings of innocent citizens in Zamfara State and complained about a lack of cash in circulation which is making citizens face hard times.

Her comments also came days after rapper Eedris Abdulkareemn a former member of defunct group The Remedies, reacted to the mass killings of residents in Zamfara State by bandits as well as the Federal Government’s suspension of mining in the state.

While describing the incident as another “Blood Diamond“ movie in the making, Eedris urged the FG to go after those in charge of the mining sites, their couriers and middlemen in Dubai.
