DSS releases Aisha Buhari's ADC

Wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha is at it again. She said that those who should be in charge had kept their mute, while bad people took over the running of President Muhammadu Buhari-led government.

Aisha spoke during a phone-in interview on Television Continental’s (TVC)’s ‘Journalists Hangout’ programme on Thursday.

She said, “I think that we should not allow people that are nothing to override the innocent. I don’t know why people that are supposed to be in charge should remain mute while bad people take over the country from us. It is impossible and totally unacceptable.”

The First Lady’s rant is not the first time she would be hinting that there are powerful people in charge of her husband’s administration.

She had in December 2018 made a similar claim. She had then told Voice of America in an interview that two powerful people hijacked the country’s government.

She had told the international media platform that Buhari would have done more for Nigeria but for “two people in government who will never allow things to move fast.”

She had added, “I am disappointed in men who rather than fight these two men will go to them in the night begging for favours.”

The claim was refuted by the presidency then.

Aisha had only recently, asked those in positions of power in the country, to “either fasten our seatbelts and do the needful or we will all regret it very soon because at the rate things are going, things are getting completely out of hand.”
