A fresh attack on Monday by the terrorists group Boko Haram on Kaumutiyahi, a community in Chibok Local Government Area (LGA) of Borno State, has left many homes reduced to ashes.

The insurgent group were said to have stormed Kaumutiyahi, which is about 13 kilometres away from Chibok, through the Sambisa Forest at about 7pm, setting the village on fire.

Only three days ago, Boko Haram had also attacked and burnt houses in Gatamwarwa ward, another Chibok community. They were later repelled by Nigerian soldiers.
