Again National Assembly transmits controversial electoral bill to Buhari
The Clerk of the National Assembly, Mr Mohammed Sani-Omolori has confirmed that the controversial Electoral (amendment) Bill has been transmitted to President Muhammadu Buhari.
“Yes, the bill has been transmitted”, the Media Assistant to the Clerk, Mr Andrew Oota confirmed.
The bill, which has provisions to improve on the country’s electoral process, did not enjoy the assent of the President on the three previous occasions it was presented.
