Again, police, youths block Benue APC secretariat ahead of caucus meetings
The All Progressive Congress (APC) Secretariat in Makurdi, the Benue State capital, has been blocked by police and youths for the fourth time.
This development comes ahead of two separate caucus meetings scheduled for Thursday.
The Comrade Austin Agada-led State Working Committee (SEC) APC caucus meeting is slated for Thursday, while the Benjamin Omakolo-led APC State Working Committee (SWC) has scheduled a caucus meeting for today in Makurdi to finalize arrangements for the Local Government elections.

The Benue State Independent Electoral Committee (BSIEC) has announced October 5 as the date for the polls in Benue State.> It is unclear what prompted the police and youths to block the APC Secretariat, but the move may be connected to the upcoming caucus meetings and the elections.
