Aisha throws fresh bomb, says 2 powerful men hindering Buhari’s efforts to perform

Outspoken wife of President Muhammadu Buhari, Aisha, has revealed another troubling situation in her husband’s administration.

The First Lady said that two powerful personalities have been and remain a clog in the wheel of Buhari’s performance efforts.

She stated this at an event in Abuja put together by Project 4+4, but she did not disclose the identities of the two very powerful individuals.

Aisha, who said the Federal Government under the leadership of her husband had achieved a lot, said the administration would have achieved more if not all it promised Nigerians, but for the two powerful persons.

Aisha said she always feels disappointed watching men who instead of fighting these two men, only go to them in the night to beg for favour.

Wife of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Dolapo was also present at the event. persecondnews quoted her to have said, ”I have realized that Senator Babafemi Ojodu, Special Adviser, political, to the President, and Dr. Hajo Sani, and wife of the Vice-President, Mrs Osinbajo, are not comfortable with my saying this and want me to confine myself to my prepared speech but we must say the truth.”

Reading out her prepared speech she urged women to ensure the return of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 2019.

Noting that women participated fully in the voting process and ensured that APC was elected during 2015 elections, she said it based on that the current government came up with social investment programmes targeted at them and their children in order to engage them and reduce the level of poverty among them.

She also regretted that women had been at the receiving end of the struggles of men, especially soldiers who had been fighting insurgency. She therefore urged government to see to speedy release of their entitlements, so their families do not suffer.

Recall that Aisha had in 2016 told the BBC in an interview, that “The president does not know 45 out of 50, for example, of the people he appointed and I don’t know them either, despite being his wife of 27 years.

“Some people are sitting down in their homes folding their arms only for them to be called to come and head an agency or a ministerial position.”
