Nigeria’s Efe Ajagba knocked out his Trinidad & Tobago opponent Nigel Paul in just 23 seconds.
Efe Ajagba is contesting in the Boxing Super Heavyweight 91kg category of Rio 2016 Olympics. The 22-year-old Bronze medlaist at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow complemented his pugilist prowess with his height.
Efe Ajagba is Nigeria’s sole representative in boxing at the Olympic Games. He has now qualified for the Quarter-finals
Ajagba who won the 2015 African Games showed a high level of confidence, aiming all his punches accurately which saw his opponent floored in less than a minute.
