Akeredolu takes early lead as Jegede trails
The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Rotimi Akeredolu has taken an early lead from official results so far released in the Ondo State governorship election.
Eyitayo Jegede, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate is trailing behind, followed by Alliance for Democracy (AD) candidate Olusola Oke.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) after announcing election results in some local government areas in the wee hours of Sunday went on break and resumed again by 6am.
