Akeredolu’s aides allegedly arrested with thumb printed ballot boxes, sharing money at polling booth
Reports from Okeijebu in Idanre area of Ondo State indicate that operatives of the Department of State Security (DSS) have arrested Ayeni Olowolabi the media aide to Rotimi Akeredolu.
He was said to have been picked for sharing money at a polling booth at Unit 2, Ward 3, Okeijebu, Idanre.
Also, Director-General of Rotimi Akeredolu Campaign Organisation, Mr. Victor Olabimtan was also allegedly caught by some security operatives with 15 Ghana Must Go bags containing thumb-printed ballot papers.
Olabimtan, a former speaker of the state House of Assembly was said to have been arrested on Akungba-Supare Akoko road in Akoko South-West Local Government Area of Ondo State during the elections.
He however denied the reports describing them as mere rumours.
Speaking with newsmen at his unit, Olabimtan stated that he had since not left his unit, and that the reports were cooked up by the opposition to discredit the APC.

Until it is confirmed, I will still want to believe it’s an untrue story. Though collation has not started yet as voting is still going on.

If he wasn’t arrested the report wouldn’t have surfaced. He must have been arrested or close to being arrested
