Akon wants Trump's job, guess who he wants as VP (Video)

44-year-old American-Senegalese singer, Akon has dropped the biggest hint yet that he is interested in the job of incumbent President Donald Trump.

Akon made the submission during an interview with TMZ while speaking about how he could school Trump on governance.

During the interview staged at the LAX centre, Akon also hinted that Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will be his running mate if he was to vie for Presidency in the year 2020.

“If I was to run for President I would actually ask [Mark Zuckerberg] to be my running man,” he says in the video below. “Cuz I think sometimes it takes people from the outside to really see life differently, to make differences.”

He added that Donald has been making a “huge difference” but not in a positive way. “I think Trump would have been a great president if he made decisions for the people,” he explains. “If he was as passionate as he is for his own interests as he is for the people, oh he would have made an amazing president.”

His comments are coming a month after popular TV host Oprah Winfrey ruled out becoming the president of the United States of America in 2020 when she said becoming the number one citizen of her country is “not in her DNA”.

“I’ve always felt very secure and confident with myself in knowing what I could do and what I could not,” Winfrey told InStyle Magazine.

“And so it’s not something that interests me. I don’t have the DNA for it,” she added.
