Al-Makura presents N67.1bn 2017 Appropriation Bill to assembly
Gov Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State on Thursday presented the 2017 Budget proposal of N67.1billion to the state House of Assembly for consideration.
The governor, who tagged the 2017 Appropriation Bill as: ‘Budget of Reformation’ said despite the dwindling revenue allocation from the Federation Allocation and the sharp drop on internally generated revenue, the government had remained focus in delivering the basic facilities in the state, through pragmatism and accountability.
Al-Makura said the budget was aimed at consolidating his administration’s achievements in fighting poverty, unemployment and to ensure even development in the state.
